Instant cosiness

I'm quite a homely person. As in I like to stay in, make it nice and cosy with my sweetheart rather than to go out. OK, I like going to concerts every now and then, or a movie or a bite to eat outdoors. But still, home is where the ♥ is, right?! And I love it when new people come to our home and compliment us on the house and how cosy it feels. That was my today's inspiration. And these pictures below gave me that instant cosy feeling. I'm positive that their entire houses from top to bottom will have that lovely vibe.

Windowsill of good memories

Today I went to the garden center to buy a few new plants for indoors as well as outdoors. I got really bored with the plants in our windowsill, so I had to get new ones. I'm pleased with the plants I found and I also bought a thriftwood garland. I thought it would be fun to hang it in the window and it does look really cosy. It really fits with the other things there.

Industrial: The colours of Fall

Even though the Summer sucked I was so much looking forward to Fall. And now it's official: it's Fall. Browsing through Art & Decoration I saw all these beautiful pictures containing industrial items with some of the pretty Fall colours. Cool biker boots, knitted dresses, hot cocoa, cosy & warm indoors, cuddling up with my love on the sofa (we don't need the Fall for that really :P).....yep, I'm so ready!
