Ik vond dit ontzettend fijne huis op de site van Apartment Therapy. Het staat in Kaapstad en wordt bewoond door een stelletje. Alle kamers van het huis spreken me erg aan. Overal staat wel iets wat ik best graag in ons eigen huis zou willen hebben. Ja, zo'n huis werkt erg inspirerend. Goed weekend allemaal!
I bumped into this glorious home on the website of Apartment Therapy. It's located in Cape Town and inhabited by a couple. I really do fancy every room. In each and every one of them I see something I wouldn't mind having for our own home. Yes, this place really inspires me. Have a lovely weekend all!
Wat was het vandaag ontzettend mooi weer hè?!! Ik heb er zo van genoten. Ben heerlijk met de hond het park in geweest hier dichtbij ons huis. Het was er heel fijn stil, bijna niemand te bekennen. Net wat ik nodig heb, die rust. Door het zonnige weer kwam ik ook helemaal in de vakantiestemming en begon een beetje te dagdromen. En kwam tot deze post, niet verkeerd toch?!

It was such a lovely weather today. I really enjoyed it, took the dog to the park nearby our home. It was so nice and quiet there, exactly what I needed. And because of the sun I started to daydream about going away on holiday. That's why I came up with today's blogpost. Not the worst place right?!

Omdat het morgen mooi weer belooft te worden én omdat ik het onlangs toegevoegd heb in onze woonkamer: GEEL. Gewoon een ontzettend vrolijke kleur.

Ik was wat aan het rondneuzen op het internet toen ik op het meest schattige en blije tafelgerei ooit stuitte. Meteen dacht ik 'hebben, hebben, hebben' want het is helemaal waar ik op val. Deze snoepjes komen van de hand van Camila Prada wiens thuisbasis Engeland is. Ik zag op haar website dat er binnenkort nog meer moois komt. Wauw, ik zie het al helemaal staan bij ons in de keuken en op tafel... :P
I was browsing on the net when I bumped into the cutest and funniest tableware on this planet. 'Want, want, want' is what I thought because this is soooo my cup of tea. These gorgeous little things are made by Camila Prada who lives in England. On her website I saw that soon there will be a few new things, just as cute as all the others. *Drool* I already see it standing in our kitchen and our dining table... :P
Ik heb vandaag voor het eerst in mijn leven een make up tasje gemaakt. Behalve dat ik het ook erg leuk vond om te doen ben ik ook best tevreden met het resultaat. Het verdiend heus niet de schoonheidsprijs, maar oefening baart kunst toch?!
Today for the first time in my life I made a make up bag. I not only just really enjoyed making it but I'm also quite pleased with the result. OK, it isn't the prettiest of all make up bags but hey, practice makes perfect, right?!
Mijn lief ging gisteren even de stad in voor wat boodschapjes. Dat hij toen niet alleen aan de benodigde dingen dacht was me erg duidelijk bij zijn thuiskomst. ♥ Hij verwende me met een fijne bos anjers, narcissen en druiven bolletjes en 3 rolletjes masking tape. Van zo'n man kan je toch ook niet anders dan heeeeel veel houden?!! ♥♥♥ En vanochtend maakte dit alles me zo vrolijk. De lente in huis én buiten, want de zon schijnt er lustig op los vandaag. :D
Yesterday my sweetheart went into the city to do some groceries. When he came home it was obvious that the needed groceries were not the only thing on his mind. ♥ He spoilt me with carnations, flowers bulbs and 3 rolls of masking tape. A man like this you just must love right?! ♥♥♥ And when I came downstairs this morning it all made me incredibly happy. We have Spring indoors and outdoors as the sun is shining a lot today. :D
Soms zou ik willen dat ik in de toekomt zou kunnen kijken. Dat je dan een geruststelling zou krijgen dat het "allemaal" wel goed komt. Dat het druk maken van nu zwaar overbodig zou zijn. Zonde van je tijd. Dus voor nu probeer ik maar niet al te ver vooruit te kijken. Want Lente dat is het immers toch al zo?!
Sometimes I wish I could see the future. That I would be reassured "everything" will be just fine. That me worrying is just a waste of time. Really unnecessary. So for now I'll try not to look too much ahead. Anyways, Spring is just around the corner, right?!
